About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow company Standard Operating Procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment. After hire, they must complete company training and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until requirements are completed, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Depending on state law and required training or certification, Technicians may also support patient health services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. Technician Immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients and refer vaccine questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, review and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 20. Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, is required. The listed pay range is $20.25 per hour. Depending on hours worked and eligibility, these include dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
