Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support our hospital’s in-house pharmacy and laboratory operations. Responsibilities include: Dispensing prescribed medications and pharmaceuticals in compliance with professional standards and legal requirements Calculating dosages and preparing medications accurately Reviewing prescriptions issued by DVMs for accuracy and completeness Maintaining proper handling, security, and documentation of controlled substances Running in-house laboratory tests and preparing samples for outside labs Maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment Managing pharmacy and laboratory inventory Training and supporting team members in lab and pharmacy procedures Assisting in maintaining overall hospital organization and cleanliness
