About The Position
Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by accurately processing prescriptions, managing computer systems, and assisting customers with pharmacy needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of retail pharmacy experience.
Responsibilities
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently so customers receive what they need.
- Enter prescription information into the computer system and maintain organized, accessible records.
- Handle billing, payments, and file management.
- Maintain inventory and organize storage to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Interact with customers and collaborate with the pharmacy team to provide excellent service.
