Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Saint Joseph, MO
•$16 - $24•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail stores. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and help maintain a safe, inclusive team environment. After starting, Technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are complete, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict the Technician’s duties. Depending on state law and required training, Technicians may also provide services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Where permitted, a Technician Immunizer may help prepare and administer vaccines and perform related patient education, documentation, monitoring, and supply-management tasks. This is a part-time role with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The stated availability is 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. every day of the week, with flexible shifts and every-other-weekend work required. The listed pay range is $16.00–$24.00 per hour. The position is eligible for benefits and programs that may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, and certain voluntary benefits, subject to hours worked and eligibility.
