Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Wellington, FL
•$17 - $25•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing compassionate, personalized service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting the role, technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state Board of Pharmacy registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, technicians may also provide services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinic support. Technician immunizers may complete additional training and licensure, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the pharmacist, monitor and report adverse reactions, document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $16.50–$25.00 per hour; the offer depends on factors such as experience, education, and geography. Eligible benefits and programs may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, certain voluntary benefits, and other programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
