CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians help patients and customers by supporting the safe, prompt, and accurate filling of prescriptions and providing caring service. They manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, follow professional and ethical standards, comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and maintain patient confidentiality. The role offers an opportunity to build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge and develop a pharmacy career using available tools and training. New Pharmacy Technicians must complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and meet the registration, licensing, and certification requirements applicable under their state’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines. A manager may limit a new technician’s duties until those requirements are met. Licensure requirements vary by state. In some markets, collective bargaining agreement rules may apply. Depending on the role and location, COVID-19 vaccination may be required where permitted by law, subject to reasonable accommodation provisions. This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $16.00–$24.00 per hour; actual offers depend on factors including experience, education, and geography. Eligible part-time colleagues may have access to benefits and programs supporting physical, emotional, and financial well-being, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
