About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail stores. They help ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while providing caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team environment. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are met. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, or staff offsite clinics where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, technicians may obtain Technician Immunizer status and support vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and referrals, adverse-reaction monitoring and reporting, patient information documentation, and vaccine-supply management. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 26. The typical pay range is $16.00–$24.00 per hour; actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, and geography. Part-time colleagues may be eligible for benefits and programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
