About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and are often the first point of contact for patients and customers. Technicians follow Standard Operating Procedures and pharmacy workflow practices while providing attentive, compassionate service and contributing to a safe, inclusive team environment. After hire, they must complete the company’s training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Where permitted, technicians may complete additional training and licensure to prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a full-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 40. The stated pay range is $16.00–$24.00 per hour; actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, and geography.
