About The Position
Scheurer Family Pharmacy-Harbor Beach, a part of Scheurer Health, is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician. This is a full-time position with 72-80 hours per bi-weekly pay period. Some weekends and holidays are expected. The role offers full benefits.
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED Equivalent
- If you are not currently licensed through the State of Michigan, you must become licensed within one year of hire
Responsibilities
- Assist Pharmacist with process of filling prescriptions
- Assist in stock control (inventory, check outdates, stocking, pricing, ordering and monitoring usage)
- Helps manage accounts receivable
- Assist with retail (Customer service, handling cash, and processing register transactions)
- Answer telephone
- Maintain and file records
- Be able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Assisting in the maintenance of cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy
- Assist Pharmacist and other staff as needed
