About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and serve as an initial point of contact for patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; the Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties until those requirements are met. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, technicians may pursue Technician Immunizer status and assist with vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and information collection, adverse-reaction monitoring and reporting, and vaccine supply management. This is a part-time position with 29 anticipated weekly hours. The listed typical pay range is $17.00–$27.00 per hour; actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, and geography.
