About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, is seeking high-energy, positive individuals to join their pharmacy technician team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring specialty prescriptions are processed, dispensed, and shipped appropriately to reach millions of patients. This role is crucial in the mission to make medicine safer, more affordable, and accessible.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required
Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
Basic math skills
General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Nice To Haves

1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Fulfillment experience a plus

Responsibilities

Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare corresponding labels.
Use problem-solving skills to assist patients.
Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure timely medication fulfillment and support quality goals.
Provide administrative and operational support services within the pharmacy.
Verify, print prescriptions, pick up medication, and assist on the packing line.
Process requests for new and refill prescriptions.
Select appropriate packing materials and prepare packages for shipment.
Enclose client-specified materials to orders.
Affix shipping labels on packages and sort by carrier.
Clean equipment and replenish workstation supplies.
Assist pharmacists with deliveries, inventory control, equipment cleaning, and inbound phone calls.
