About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist, under the Pharmacist’s supervision, in the daily operation of the Pharmacy. The position is with San Dimas Community Hospital, a 101-bed facility and member of Prime Healthcare, which provides a range of healthcare services and is committed to quality, compassion, and community.
Requirements
- Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
- State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration is required if required by state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire, as applicable to facility-specific requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program.
- 340B program experience, if at a 340B facility.
