About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician at Broulim's Pharmacy, you will support pharmacists in pharmacy operations and help provide quality pharmacy services to customers. The role includes assisting with prescription processing, preparing medications, and delivering excellent customer service. You will help provide personalized pharmacy solutions and support the safety and well-being of customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
Familiarity with prescription processing systems and pharmacy software.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and drug classifications.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with pharmacy staff and customers.
Strong attention to detail when preparing and labeling medications.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong customer service skills for assisting patients and addressing their needs.
Ability to identify and resolve issues related to prescription processing and customer inquiries.

Nice To Haves

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with prescription orders, including data entry and insurance verification.
Prepare and label prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy, including stocking shelves and managing inventory.
Assist customers with prescription pickups and inquiries, providing friendly and knowledgeable service.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate pharmacy staff member.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing paperwork and maintaining patient records.
Follow pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards to ensure compliance.
