About The Position
Clarity is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join a busy, well-established pharmacy in Westport, Co. Mayo. This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week). You'll work every other Saturday, with no Sundays, late nights or Bank Holidays required. You'll be backed by an excellent support team of pharmacists and technicians, helping you cater to a steady flow of customers. MPS is the dispensing system used.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of the team as well as on your own initiative
- Strong time management
- A genuine focus on customer service
- You must be a fully qualified pharmacy technician.
- Previous Irish Pharmacy Technician experience (at least 1 year) is favourable.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the pharmacist with preparing, labelling and dispensing prescriptions
- Managing prescription dosages, queries, phone calls and customer requests
- Ordering and managing stock, including storage and expiry checks
- Advising customers on over-the-counter products, under pharmacist supervision
- Assisting with claims processing and related paperwork
- Excellent customer service
- Any other duties as required
