Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Coral Springs, FL
•$17 - $27•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are fulfilled promptly, safely, and accurately, serve as an initial point of contact for patients and customers, and contribute to a caring, inclusive, and safe experience. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and complete a company training program along with applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Technicians may support additional patient care services—including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics—where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permissible, immunization support requires additional licensure and training and may include preparing and administering vaccines, educating patients and referring clinical questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, responding to and reporting adverse reactions, collecting and documenting patient information, and managing vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with 28 anticipated weekly hours. The stated typical pay range is $17.00–$27.00 per hour. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and may involve traveling to other stores in the market as needed. The role is eligible for benefits and programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility, including dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
