About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately; assist patients and customers; and contribute to a caring, inclusive, and safe experience. After starting, they must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are met. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, and may staff offsite clinics when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, technicians may obtain Technician Immunizer status by completing required licensure and training, then support vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and information collection, adverse-reaction response and reporting, documentation, and vaccine supply management. This is a part-time position with an anticipated schedule of 24 hours per week. The listed pay range is $17.00 per hour. Benefits eligibility and availability depend on hours worked and other eligibility requirements; offerings may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, voluntary benefits, and other programs.
