About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while delivering caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable laws and professional standards, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. After starting, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are met. Where permitted and with required training and certification, Technicians may provide additional health services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and support at offsite clinics. Technician immunizers may also prepare and administer vaccines, educate and refer patients, monitor and report adverse reactions, document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a full-time position with anticipated hours of 40 per week. The stated typical pay range is $17.00 per hour. The position is eligible for a benefits package that may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, based on eligibility.
