About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician prepares and distributes medications for patient consumption under the general supervision of a licensed pharmacist and in accordance with standard departmental procedures. This is a full-time position with variable shifts and an eight-hour schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in a hospital inpatient facility.
- Pharmacy Technician registration with the California State Board of Pharmacy (CA DCA).
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician School is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications for patient consumption.
- Distribute medications for patient consumption under the general supervision of a licensed pharmacist and in accordance with standard departmental procedures.
