About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, and timely prescription services and operational excellence in retail locations. They often serve as a first point of contact for patients and customers, providing caring, personalized service and helping pharmacy operations run smoothly. Where allowed by law and supported by required training and certification, Technicians may also provide additional health care services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Immunization support may require additional licensure and training and may include vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and referral, adverse-reaction monitoring and reporting, patient information documentation, and vaccine supply management.
