About The Position
Adventist Rehabilitation - Rockville seeks to hire an experienced Pharmacy Technician for our Rehabilitation Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED/equivalent
- Licensure as Pharmacy Technician by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an ASHP accredited or PTCB recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred.
- 1 year of pharmacy experience
- Previous experience with Cerner, Pyxis, Pharmogistics, Carousels.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver medication according to established policies, procedures, and protocols, under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate inventory of medications and supplies.
- Responsible and accountable for controlled drugs in the pharmacy, for oral and solid prepacking, and refilling automated dispensing units.
