CVS Health•Boston, MA
•$17 - $27•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow Standard Operating Procedures, pharmacy workflow procedures, best practices, and applicable laws and policies, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet registration, licensing, and certification requirements set by their state Board of Pharmacy. Until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties. Where permitted and with the required training and certification, Technicians may also provide additional health services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Technician immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines and support related patient education, documentation, monitoring, and supply management.
