About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Pharmacy Technician for their East Building Clinic Pharmacy in La Crosse. This role involves entering prescription data, calculating dispensing quantities, preparing medication labels, filling prescriptions, compounding non-sterile products, managing inventory, and preparing prescriptions for delivery or shipment. The technician will also answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries, and may assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of WI
• Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire
