About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Pharmacy Technician for its Clinic Pharmacy in La Crosse. This role involves various pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, inventory management, and patient interaction. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of WI
• Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions
• Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs
• Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment
• Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries
• Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed
