Pharmacy Technician (6:00AM - 2:30PM ET)

About The Position

The ATP Pharmacy Technician monitors, fills, and organizes medication dispensing through automated machines and supports pharmacy inventory activities. The position requires a high standard of accountability to ensure the accuracy of patients’ ExactPacks. It is full-time, averaging 40 hours per week, with availability outside normal business hours on an ad hoc basis to meet customer expectations. Schedules may be adjusted to accommodate position and organizational needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
If without prior pharmacy experience, commit to registering with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and obtaining pharmacy certification within one year of employment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification and registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Process correct bags through the automated machines.
Maintain a high level of quality assurance for medication dispensing.
Stock received pharmacy inventory.
Organize medication shelves and maintain a clean workstation.
Ensure the station is properly stocked at all times.
Monitor station queues.
Meet daily pharmacy goals to ensure timely delivery to patients.
Use superior written and verbal communication to work with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.
