About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately; assist patients and customers as an initial point of contact; and provide caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, applicable laws and professional standards, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. They must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are met. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, a Technician Immunizer may prepare and administer vaccines after completing the applicable licensure and training requirements. The role is part-time, with an anticipated 29 hours per week, and requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends. The stated typical pay range is $17.92–$27.92 per hour. Benefits for eligible part-time colleagues may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
