About The Position

Cub Northside off Broadway Avenue is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician. The role supports the pharmacy by processing prescriptions, maintaining records, and providing stock support. It also helps maintain shelf stock to promote product availability and sales. The position requires customer service, accurate order processing, hazardous drug handling, and compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations. Shifts vary weekly, and weekend work is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, including speaking, hearing, and writing.
• Ability to operate office equipment as needed, including a personal computer, telephone, and fax.
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to write and see objects at reading distance.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read or view computer screens for extended periods.
• Good judgment, including when direct supervision is not immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
• Accurately process customer orders by ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge.
• Maintain positive customer relations.
• Handle hazardous drugs.
• Receive and stock items for the department.
• Assist with ordering.
• Pull drug bottles for pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
• Organize and clean.
• Maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain shelf stock to support product availability and sales.
