About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while providing caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and meet the registration, licensing, and certification requirements applicable under their state’s Board of Pharmacy rules. Where permitted, technicians may obtain Technician Immunizer status and support vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and referral, adverse-reaction monitoring and reporting, patient information documentation, and vaccine supply management.
