About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow company Standard Operating Procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable laws and professional standards, while contributing to a safe, inclusive, and effective pharmacy team. They complete required company training and meet state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; until those requirements are satisfied, some duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager. Depending on applicable law and required training, Technicians may provide additional health care services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and may involve working at other stores in the market as business needs require. The role is full-time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $19.00–$29.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors such as experience, education, and geography.
