Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Murray, KY
•$16 - $24•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. After starting, Technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, Technicians may also provide services such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, including supporting offsite clinics. Some Technicians may complete additional requirements to become Technician Immunizers and assist with preparing and administering vaccines. This is a full-time position with 40 anticipated weekly hours. Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, is required. The typical pay range is $16.00–$24.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
