Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Salisbury, MD
•$17 - $25•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians work as part of the pharmacy team, follow standard operating procedures and best practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment. After starting, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet registration, licensing, and certification requirements under their state’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines. The Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties until those requirements are satisfied. Depending on state law and required training, Technicians may provide additional services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Where permitted, immunizer duties may include preparing and administering vaccines. This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The pay range is $16.50–$25.00. Actual pay depends on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations. The role includes regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and may require travel to other stores in the market to cover shifts. The application window is anticipated to close on 12/16/2026.
