Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Bridgewater, MA
•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help the pharmacy team fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately, assist patients as an initial point of contact, and provide caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment. After starting in the role, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Technicians may provide additional patient health services—including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics—where allowed by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers complete additional requirements to prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with anticipated hours of 15 per week.
