Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Bay Village, OH

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail stores. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow procedures, applicable laws and professional standards, and contribute to a safe and inclusive team culture. After starting in the role, technicians must complete a company training program and satisfy state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are met. Where permitted by law and supported by the required training and certification, technicians may provide additional patient health services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, or staff offsite clinics. Technician immunizers may have additional responsibilities for preparing and administering vaccines. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at other stores in the market as business needs require. The stated schedule is 40 hours per week, and the role is full-time. The typical pay range is $17.00 per hour. Eligible full-time colleagues may receive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility.
