About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, applicable laws and professional standards, and CVS policies for patient safety, controlled-substance compliance, recordkeeping, and privacy. They complete a company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; the Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties until those requirements are complete. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, or staff offsite clinics when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permissible, technicians may pursue Technician Immunizer status and support vaccine preparation and administration, patient education, adverse-reaction response, documentation, and vaccine supply management. Scheduling flexibility and travel to other stores in the market may be needed to meet business needs. This is a part-time position with 28 anticipated weekly hours. The listed typical pay range is $17.00–$27.00. Eligible benefits vary according to hours worked and eligibility and may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
