About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and serve as an initial point of contact for patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and compassionate environment. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Depending on state law and applicable training and certification, technicians may also support immunizations and other patient health care services, including point-of-care testing and offsite clinics. Technicians who obtain Technician Immunizer status may prepare and administer vaccines and perform related patient education, documentation, adverse-reaction response, and vaccine-supply management.
