About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable laws and professional standards. After starting, they must complete company training and meet state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics, where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permissible, Technician Immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines after completing the additional licensure and training requirements. This part-time role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at other stores in the market as business needs require.
