About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable laws and standards, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting in the role, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; duties may be restricted until those requirements are met. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, and may staff offsite clinics when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, immunizer duties include completing required licensure and training, preparing and administering vaccines, educating patients and referring vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitoring and reporting adverse reactions, documenting patient information, and managing vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 20. The stated pay range is $16.50–$25.00 per hour. Actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Eligible part-time colleagues may have access to benefits and programs depending on hours worked and eligibility, including dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, and certain voluntary benefits.
