About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, is looking for a high-energy, positive Pharmacy Technician to join their team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring prescriptions are processed and shipped appropriately to patients. This role is worksite dependent and can only be performed onsite. The available shift is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required
Nevada Pharmacy Technician license required
Basic math skills
General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Nice To Haves

1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred.
Fulfillment experience a plus

Responsibilities

Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare corresponding labels.
Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure medications are adequately filled and support quality goals.
Deliver administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.
Pick up medication and assist on the packing line.
Process requests for new and refill prescriptions.
Select appropriate packing materials and prepare packages for shipment.
Enclose client-specified materials to orders.
Affix shipping labels on packages and sort by carrier.
Clean equipment and replenish workstation supplies.
Assist pharmacist with deliveries, inventory control, equipment cleaning, and inbound phone calls.
