About The Position
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical assistance to the pharmacist. Manage, refill, and maintain automated dispensing systems. Orchestrate the procurement, organization, and storage of pharmaceutical supplies. Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds while adhering to strict USP standards and safety protocols. Repackage bulk medications and manage incoming supplies to ensure accurate labeling.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
