About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, remote position. This role involves assisting patients with life-sustaining medications for rare and/or chronic diseases. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for processing prescription orders by engaging with patients, insurance companies, and various departments to ensure timely medication shipment. The position is detail-oriented, requiring significant time spent on computer systems for data entry and phone communication.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience required
Valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of AZ or PA required. Trainee license may be considered.
Tech Savvy- Strong computer / data entry ability with Microsoft Office products
High speed internet with wired ethernet connection.
Private & quiet workspace

Responsibilities

Inbound calls and outbound calls welcoming and gathering patient demographics and arranging 1st shipment.
Creating requests and making Outbound calls to providers and doctors office for prescription requests.
Data Entry focused functions.
Ensure prescriptions are accurately entered into system.
Investigate non-clinical issues with pharmacist, doctors & other healthcare providers.
Provide guidance to our patients about medication coverage.
Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
