Pharmacy Technician - Accredo - Remote IN
About The Position
Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, now part of Cigna, is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to join their Pharmacy team. This role is different from retail pharmacy operations, focusing on computer and phone-based tasks rather than manual dispensing. It offers a break from a retail environment, a set schedule, and the satisfaction of helping others. Pharmacy Technicians will assist with data entry for incoming prescriptions, make outbound calls to prescribers' offices, and research medication coverage issues with patients and doctors. The role provides a supportive environment with training and peer support. The position is remote but requires the candidate to be located and licensed in Indiana.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana Pharmacy technician license/certification/registration required.
- 2+ years of relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- 1+ years of order entry experience required.
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build relationships with patients.
- This is a phone-based position. Candidate must be comfortable with making and receiving high volume calls to patients and providers.
- Candidate must be located and licensed in Indiana.

Responsibilities
