About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail stores. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting in the role, Technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are completed, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Depending on state law, training, and certification, Technicians may also support patient health care services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work shifts at other stores in the market as business needs require.
