•$17 - $27•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring, personalized service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until these requirements are met. Depending on state law and required training and certification, technicians may provide additional patient health services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, and may staff offsite clinics. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, flexibility to work at other stores in the market as needed, and the physical ability to perform pharmacy and retail tasks.
