About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail stores. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately; assist patients and customers; follow pharmacy workflows and company procedures; and contribute to a caring, safe, and inclusive experience. Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, Technicians may deliver additional patient health care services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. Pharmacy Technicians who support immunizations must meet additional licensure and training requirements and may prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients, refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a full-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 40. The typical pay range is $16.50–$25.00; the actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Eligible full-time colleagues may receive a benefits package supporting physical, emotional, and financial well-being.
