Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Colorado Springs, CO

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail stores. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and serve as an initial point of contact for patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; until then, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Technicians may perform inventory activities and, where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, provide additional patient services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Technician immunizers must complete additional state-required licensure and training, educate patients about vaccines, refer vaccine questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 20. The typical pay range is $17.16–$27.16 per hour. The actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, and geography. Part-time colleagues may be eligible for benefits and programs depending on hours worked and eligibility, including dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, and access to certain voluntary benefits.
