About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join their team. They are seeking high-energy, positive individuals to ensure prescriptions are dispensed and shipped appropriately within corporate and regulatory guidelines. This role is crucial in ensuring patients receive the medication they need in a timely manner, contributing to the mission of making medicine safer, more affordable, and accessible.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Basic math skills
• General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
• 1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred

Responsibilities

• Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare corresponding labels.
• Problem-solve to help patients be at their best.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure medications are adequately filled and support quality goals.
• Provide administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.
• Define procedures under close supervision.
• Pick up medication and assist on the packing line.
• Verify, print prescriptions, and perform routine duties.
