About The Position
This position provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist. The role involves refilling and maintaining automated dispensing systems, preparing orders, maintaining inventory for the pharmacy department, repackaging bulk medications, and receiving and storing incoming supplies. The Pharmacy Technician also serves as a liaison between the pharmacy, patient, and health professionals by providing necessary information.
Requirements
- Currently registered or eligible to be registered as a pharmacy technician by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
- Active registration will be required prior to date of hire.
- High School diploma equivalency required.
