About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in a retail store. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and effective communication standards, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. After starting the role, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are completed. Technicians contribute to safe and effective pharmacy operations, support patient health services where permitted and appropriately trained, and may pursue additional licensure and training to support vaccination. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and may involve working at other stores in the market as business needs require.
