CVS Health•Bath, ME
•$17 - $27•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and help create a safe, inclusive environment where patients and colleagues feel valued. Technicians must complete the company’s training program and satisfy state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until all requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Depending on applicable law and training, technicians may also provide services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and support at offsite clinics. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers complete additional training and licensure, educate patients about vaccines, refer clinical questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, respond to adverse reactions, document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies.
