CVS Health•Columbus, OH

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, and timely prescription services and operational excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, and help create a caring, personalized service experience. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable legal and professional requirements while contributing to a safe, inclusive, and effective pharmacy operation. After starting in the role, technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy the registration, licensing, and certification requirements applicable under their state’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, technicians may also provide services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Technician immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines and support related patient education, documentation, monitoring, and supply management. This is a full-time role with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $17.00 per hour. The position is eligible for a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility.
