About The Position

At CVS Health retail locations, Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence. They help ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while providing caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging workplace. After starting, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Technician immunizers must complete applicable licensure and training, educate patients about vaccines, refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and respond to adverse reactions, document patient information and events, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time role with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The stated typical pay range is $16.50–$25.00 per hour. The actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Eligible part-time colleagues may have access to benefits and programs that support physical, emotional, and financial well-being, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
